ES
- Insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop {2 loops on hook}
- YO, insert hook into same stitch, and pull up a loop {4 loops on hook}
- YO, pull through all 4 loops
- CH 1 to secure
* 2 top loops are created by each ES. Always work into the first top loops and not the CH-1 thereafter.
- Turn after each row.
Multiples

Base
In 4th CH from hook, make a ES, *skip 1 CH, ES*
Pattern repeat
- CH 2, turn. ES in each stitch
- Note: to work in the top of the stitch and not the CH 1
- Work last stitch at top of CH 2

Variant
CH 1 at the beginning (instead of CH 2) if your the sides are taller while the middle sinks, or if your tension is tight.
